If you prefer to support the long term viability of the Trail, please make your donation to the Vancouver Island Trail Association Endowment Fund by going to Victoria Foundation.
In 2021, VITA established an endowment fund managed by the Victoria Foundation to provide for the long-term sustainability of the Vancouver Island Trail. Donations to the endowment fund accumulate over time and in perpetuity. Our goal is to accumulate several hundred thousand dollars. Only the income earned on the principal amount of the endowment fund will be available to support Trail maintenance and promotion in the long-term.
