Vancouver Island Trail Association – Boilerplate
Vancouver Island Trail Association (VITA) is a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about developing a trail that highlights the diversity of Vancouver Island. Focused on building and maintaining new trails and linking existing trails from Cape Scott in the south to the northern tip of the island, VITA, in partnership with Indigenous Communities and private companies has created the Vancouver Island Trail. A Trail that showcases the spectacular Westcoast landscape and communities.
Vancouver Island Trail – Boilerplate
Vancouver Island Trail is the longest hiking trail on Vancouver Island at 800 KMs. From Victoria in the south, to Cape Scott at the northern tip of the island, the Vancouver Island Trail passes through many traditional territories of Indigenous Peoples. The Trail showcases spectacular Westcoast landscape, Indigenous culture and island communities. You can certainly hike the entire length in one stop, but many tend to enjoy a day hike here or a weekend of camping on the Vancouver Island Trail where Endless Adventures Await.
